It's been an inactive year for me in deviantArt. All these while I've been working on my assignments and I haven't had time to do personal work, maybe if I had cut down on playing Team Fortress 2 and Dota2 then I just might have enough time to splat down some sketches or something. There are a few works I had down (which are college assignments) that I want to upload into my dA but I haven't gotten around it yet. 1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
I traveled to Singapore by bus with some of my friends, it was the first time I went overseas without my parents. The trip lasted 2 days as I participated in Cosfest X.1. This trip was also the first time I went anywhere being the only torn among the roses and I shared a room with 7 girls. Oh hey, it's a brand new year. I'm looking forward to another year full of experience, inspiration and ideas. While 2011 was coming to an end, I went back to my parent's hometown in Penang and visited my grandparents, meaning no internet. I was 'disconnected from the world' for a week. I guess I got some inspiration in that duration without internet, did I?
Unfortunately for me, I slept through the new year fireworks and had to attend a funeral for my late aunt on the 1st. Even so, it's a memory I won't forget, probably the first time I cried on a new year's day.
Classes in college has resumed. Pretty early I guess and my birthday's around
